Audiences have followed the story of everyone's favorite socially awkward genius Sheldon Cooper for over 15 years, first on The Big Bang Theory and now on Young Sheldon. While Sheldon is one of the more divisive sitcom lead characters, no one can deny his popularity. The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon have aired for a combined 18 seasons and 406 episodes. In its heyday, TBBT could pull in 20 million viewers weekly. While YS doesn't approach those heights, it is still the most-watched sitcom on television and is set to air through at least next season.
